The current issue of Windy City Times, Chicago’s weekly LGBT newspaper and National Gay Newspaper Guild member, contains a lengthy feature on this season’s Project Runway contestant Jack Mackenroth. Jack left the show after a few episodes due to a staph infection during the taping of the series in June.
In the story, Jack talks about his experience on Project Runway, his already established design career, being HIV+ for 18 years and his participating as a competitive swimmer in the past five Gay Games, posting a national record time at the Chicago games in 2006.
Since we’ve posted several times on Project Runway on this site, it seemed a natural fit to link this local story to our blog.
