By now, we hope you’ve seen Steve’s Fond Farewell post. If not, we encourage you to check it out.
As with Eddy’s return to England last year, Steve’s departure this month is a big loss for us. As a team, we’re all sad about what it means to us personally. Steve has been a great colleague and an even better friend. Fortunately, we’ll be able to keep in touch with him via Twitter, Facebook and countless other electronic means. And we’re looking forward to his comments on our blog posts as well! Now that he’s not co-editing each post with me, it will be really interesting to see what he has to say about our thoughts.
So, you may be wondering, what will we do to fill the void on the Out Front Blog created by Steve’s departure? Well, there’s no replacing him, that’s for sure. For now, we’ll add extra blog posts by the team and we’ll increase the number of Q&As to ensure we have fresh new content to share. We already have a few topics lined up for both of these options. And Peter Klaus, one of our original bloggers, will boost his participation and begin blogging more regularly again (check out his past work on his bio page).
Longer term, we’ll be looking for new bloggers from our network to add to the team. If the new folks are even half as good as the team we have, we’ll be in very good shape.
Rest assured that there is more good stuff to come. We look forward to continuing to engage with you along the way.
